This is an important message from the City of Hidden Hills.
Due to the Sandy Fire, an Evacuation Warning remains in effect for the City Zone HID-C501 based on current guidance and recommendations from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
City staff continue to closely monitor fire conditions, public safety updates, and official direction from emergency response agencies. The status of the evacuation warnings will be reevaluated tomorrow as conditions continue to evolve.
While this is not yet a Mandatory Evacuation, conditions may change rapidly. Residents should prepare to leave at a moment’s notice.
Please take the following steps now:
- Prepare an emergency kit with medications, important documents, water, food, clothing, phone chargers, and pet supplies.
- Fuel your vehicles and park facing the direction of travel.
- Identify multiple evacuation routes.
- Check on neighbors who may need assistance.
- Monitor official City communications and follow all instructions from emergency personnel.
Updates will be provided as they become available.
