Welcome Mayor Gold

December 12, 2023

On Monday December 11th, Council Member Eniko Gold was unanimously elected as the Mayor of the City of Hidden Hills. Only the second female Mayor in over a quarter of a century, Gold has served the City as a Council Member for the last 3 years, most recently serving as the Mayor Pro Tem. Mayor Gold also serves Hidden Hills residents as the President of the Council of Governments, presiding over regional decisions and improvements for the cities of Malibu, Westlake Village, Calabasas, Agoura Hills & Hidden Hills. Additionally, Mayor Gold has been serving for two years on the Cal Cities Statewide Governance & Transparency Committee.

Born in Szeged, Hungary, known as the “City of Sunshine,” and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Cultural Management from the University of Szeged, Mayor Gold later earned a Master of Science Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from California State University Northridge. Mayor Gold’s experience volunteering in Hidden Hills commenced as a member of the HHCA’s Parks and Recreation Committee and, as a very involved mother of three children, she also Chairs “Mommy and Me,” with a focus of welcoming new families to become more a part of the community. Occupationally, Mayor Gold manages a sizable residential real estate portfolio.

The City of Hidden Hills welcomes Mayor Gold in her new position!
