In any situation involving suspicious activity or a potential crime, contacting the appropriate law enforcement agency immediately is critical. Prompt reporting ensures that deputies can respond quickly, assess the situation, and take appropriate action to protect residents and the community.

Who and When to Call
All suspicious activity and/or crimes must be reported directly to the Sheriff’s Department by calling either 911 or the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station directly at (818) 878-1808.
DO NOT CALL HIDDEN HILLS SECURITY UNTIL YOU HAVE FIRST CONTACTED THE SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT.
Call 911 for emergencies requiring immediate assistance from law enforcement, fire services, or medical responders, such as crimes in progress, fires, or life-threatening situations.

- Request Vacation Check. Residents may request a vacation check while traveling. Deputies will stop by your home while you are away and provide a visual inspection. Schedule a vacation check below. Please include name, address, contact number while away, dates of travel, and any additional information, such as a housesitter, pets, or if workers will be at your house.
- Request Home Assessment. Residents may request a home assessment. Sheriff’s Deputies will meet with residents, walk your property, and make recommendations to better secure your home.
