Who to Call and When
Call 911 for emergencies requiring immediate assistance from law enforcement, fire services, or medical responders, including:
- You witness or suspect criminal activity (e.g., burglary, assault, vandalism, theft, domestic disputes)
- You observe fire, smoke, or hazardous conditions
- You see violence, threats, or weapons

There is a medical emergency or someone is in immediate danger
- A situation requires law enforcement authority, such as arrests or legal intervention

- Suspicious activity (but not dangerous or urgent)

- Request Vacation Check. Residents may request a vacation check while traveling. Deputies will stop by your home while you are away and provide a visual inspection. Schedule a vacation check below. Please include name, address, contact number while away, dates of travel, and any additional information, such as a housesitter, pets, or if workers will be at your house.
- Request Home Assessment. Residents may request a home assessment. Sheriff’s Deputies will meet with residents, walk your property, and make recommendations to better secure your home.
