Safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste and electronic waste at the Too Toxic to Trash drive-thru event on Sunday, November 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Calabasas Landfill Scale Area, 5300 Lost Hills Road.
This free event is open to all L.A. County residents and is hosted by Los Angeles County Public Works and the Los Angeles County Sanitation District.
Disposal tips:
- Secure items in your vehicle’s trunk or truck bed.
- Bring waste in sturdy boxes, preferably in original containers, and be prepared to leave them behind.
- No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials, controlled substances, trash, tires, or large appliances.
- Limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.
Take this opportunity to clear out harmful materials safely and help keep our community and environment clean.
