Heat Advisory – July 22 Through July 27

July 24, 2026

Update (7/24): Fire Weather Caution Added

In addition to the ongoing Heat Advisory, elevated fire weather conditions are expected through Monday, July 27, with a chance of a Red Flag Warning this weekend in interior and mountain areas. Hot, dry, and breezy conditions mean any fire that starts could spread rapidly.

Please use extra caution with anything that could spark a fire, including outdoor equipment, grilling, and vehicles parked on dry grass. Avoid any activity that could create sparks during peak heat and wind hours.

The original Heat Advisory remains in effect, unchanged, through Monday, July 27.

Posted (7/22): Fire Weather Caution Added

The City of Hidden Hills is sharing an important weather advisory from the National Weather Service: a Heat Advisory is in effect for our area from today, July 22, through Monday, July 27, with elevated temperatures expected through the week.

Residents are encouraged to:

  • Stay hydrated and limit time outdoors during peak heat hours
  • Use air conditioning; fans alone will not provide adequate protection
  • Check on elderly neighbors and those without reliable cooling
  • Never leave children, pets, or elderly family members in a parked vehicle

LA County Cooling Center locations are available at ready.lacounty.gov/heat.

For real-time updates, visit weather.gov/lox or contact the National Weather Service.
